[SGU Panels] General discussion

Here is a place for debate, to compare different possibilities and maybe find a general consensus about the best way to produce the outer design of a SGU Stargate.

As this part (in opposition to other more technical subjects) can be made of many different ways that could all work pretty well, I think we won't try here to find a real consensus, but more to compare every possible way to create the body of this particular gate with its own specific details.

You may prefer to open your own topic to show your own approach, which is totally ok and which we recommend for this subject opposed to other subjects like the rotation which seem more something to debate all together.

That being said, feel free to post here your different thought about the good and bad aspects of using a particular material and process, I'll try to summarize here what come out of this debate.
